Students who are interested in browsing available offerings through CACE’s UPSKill initiative can do so by accessing the Schedule of Classes powered by MyArgoExpress. By searching through MyArgoExpress, students will be able to view the most up-to-date course listings, availability, schedule, pre-requisite requirements and description.
Tips for Navigating MyArgoExpress
- Select your semester of interest from the drop-down menu
- UP offers courses during the fall, spring and summer semester terms

- OPTIONAL: Further refine your search by clicking on your days of availability under the “Meets on Selected Days” option above the “Search Courses” button

Spring 2026 CACE UPSpeciality Special Topic Offerings
TITLE: BIO-392-ASY Special Topic: Pharmacology For Practitioners (3.00 cr/hrs)
DESCRITPION: This course is a systematic study of drugs used in the management and treatment of common disorders, with an emphasis on evidence-based guidelines and therapeutic assessments. Lectures will focus on providing students with a rational basis for drug selection and improving therapeutic outcomes. The course will explore common drugs and their corresponding therapeutic indications, mechanisms of action, adverse effects, toxicities, and drug interactions. Students will be trained to assess the benefits and risks of pharmacologic interventions in various patient care settings.

TITLE: BUS-392: Management in the Not-for-Profit Organization
DESCRITPION: This course will examine aspects of the not-for-profit as a segment of the service business sector in today’s society. Topics will include, but are not limited to, the differences/similarities in not-for-profits in business, strategic planning, managing by the mission, board responsibilities and governance, staffing, recruiting volunteers, and program.

TITLE: BUS-392: Grant Writing and Administration
DESCRITPION: This hands-on course takes a student through the process of writing an actual grant for a nonprofit organization. The course is organized into eight weeks. Each week has several assignments where the student writes and constructs the parts of their grant. The concepts in the assignments are built on one another, so as assignments are completed the grant is written. At the end of the course the students will have completed a submissible grant proposal.

- Upon enrollment, the university will send a confirmation email with further instructions on how to access your course and course materials to prepare for the semester.
**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Courses can fill quickly. Those interested in courses are encouraged to make sure the courses are open. Emailing and hand delivering requests will minimize the chance for courses to fill between the time enrollment is submitted and processed by the university. The University may be required to cancel courses due to low enrollment. In these cases, students will be notified, and a full refund will be issued.**
