Important Writing Center Updates (Fall 2025)

The writing center is revamping the sign-up and appointment system to serve our students better.

In the meantime…

• Campus Students: Walk-ins are welcome, and a paper sign-up will be available on the writing center door if you’d like to reserve a spot. We are located in the library. Please bring your draft and the assignment prompt, and be ready to tell us where you’d most like our assistance.
• Distance Students: Please email your draft, the assignment prompt, and comments on where you’d most like our assistance to writingcenter@uprovidence.edu. We will save the first appointment slot each day for distance appointments and will strive to look at your paper the first weekday after you send it our way. If there are more distance appointments than we can fit in that slot, we will reserve the next available spot for you.

Important Note: For the first two weeks of the semester, Dr. Easler’s and Dr. Young’s appointment slots are reserved for students in ENG 099; walk-ins are welcome if we are not meeting with an ENG 099 student. Please note that these hours may be subject to change.
