Event Space at the University of Providence
University Center Conference Room
The newest building on campus, the University Center, houses the UC Conference Room. The 5,000 square foot conference room is on the second floor, which is easily accessible by one of the two elevators found in the building. This large room will seat 304 people with round tables or 420 theater style (chairs only). The room has dual technology that accommodates the large room, or it can accommodate two smaller individual rooms when divided in half. The technology available in this venue is multiple mics and speaker arrays built into the ceiling panels.
There are also high-end cameras along the front and back of the room, which makes it perfect for your Skype meeting if needed. There is also a large foyer located outside the main doors of this room for cocktail gatherings, vendor displays, or whatever your needs may be.
Providence Forum Room
Located in the McLaughlin Center is the 2,244 Sq. Ft. Providence Forum room. You can find this room in the same building as the University of Providence gym. The Providence Forum room seats 120 with 8’ or round tables, and 130 people theater style (chairs only). This room offers an Internet hub with multi-media capabilities.
If you have an intimate group or need additional breakout space, the Founders Room will fit your needs. Located in the Student Center, the Founders Room is 413 sq. ft. and can hold up to 24 people.
Also located inside the McLaughlin Center, you will find the Fireside Room. This room offers an Internet hub with multi-media capabilities. There are 910 square feet of space, which makes it ideal for training sessions, general meetings, or special presentations. It will comfortably seat up to 70 people with chairs only or 42 people using round tables.
The McLaughlin Café is inside the McLaughlin Center, which houses the UP gymnasium. It features a convenient counter area often used for concessions during UP athletic events. This room is 1,330 square feet and is perfect for an informal, small gathering.
Theater Auditorium and Lobby
Enjoy movies, performances, or lectures in the UP Theater. You are guaranteed comfort with our 245 newly installed seats. Furthermore, inside the entrance to the theater, there is a private reception area available for your use.
Computer Labs and Classrooms
There are over fifteen traditional classrooms and computer-style classrooms at the University of Providence. This variety of classrooms will allow you the flexibility to book the perfect space for business training, lectures, or meetings.
