The University of Providence has the perfect venue for your event!

Welcome to the University of Providence, located in Great Falls, Montana. With over a dozen meeting sites on the University’s campus, it is easy to find the perfect venue for your event. An added benefit of each event site is that the majority of venues offer full multi-media technology.

The University of Providence event staff has the resources and expertise to help you plan every detail of your event. Whether you need space for a wedding, corporate event, convention, conference, fundraiser, gala, or private meeting, we are here to help you.

Pioneer College Caterers is the food and beverage service at the University of Providence. Caterina de Landro, Food Service Director, will use her expertise to help you plan all your food and beverage needs. There is also the option to hire an outside caterer if that is a better fit for your event.

During the summer months, the University of Providence welcomes – camps, programs, and conferences. UP Housing is available during May, June, and July. We can offer various types of sleeping rooms to fit the needs of your attendees. Housing on campus is both affordable and convenient. The University is just a short distance from local attractions such as the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, the C.M. Russell Museum, Giant Springs, and Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art. Local conveniences such as Albertsons, Walgreens, Target, and restaurants are just a short walk from campus.

Event Space at the University of Providence

University Center Conference Room

 The newest building on campus, the University Center, houses the UC Conference Room.  The 5,000 square foot conference room is on the second floor, which is easily accessible by one of the two elevators found in the building.  This large room will seat 304 people with round tables or 420 theater style (chairs only). The room has dual technology that accommodates the large room, or it can accommodate two smaller individual rooms when divided in half.  The technology available in this venue is multiple mics and speaker arrays built into the ceiling panels.

There are also high-end cameras along the front and back of the room, which makes it perfect for your Skype meeting if needed.  There is also a large foyer located outside the main doors of this room for cocktail gatherings, vendor displays, or whatever your needs may be.

Providence Forum Room

Located in the McLaughlin Center is the 2,244 Sq. Ft. Providence Forum room.  You can find this room in the same building as the University of Providence gym.  The Providence Forum room seats 120 with 8’ or round tables, and 130 people theater style (chairs only). This room offers an Internet hub with multi-media capabilities.

Founders Room

If you have an intimate group or need additional breakout space, the Founders Room will fit your needs.  Located in the Student Center, the Founders Room is 413 sq. ft. and can hold up to 24 people.

Fireside Room

Also located inside the McLaughlin Center, you will find the Fireside Room. This room offers an Internet hub with multi-media capabilities.  There are 910 square feet of space, which makes it ideal for training sessions, general meetings, or special presentations. It will comfortably seat up to 70 people with chairs only or 42 people using round tables.

McLaughlin Cafe

The McLaughlin Café is inside the McLaughlin Center, which houses the UP gymnasium.  It features a convenient counter area often used for concessions during UP athletic events. This room is 1,330 square feet and is perfect for an informal, small gathering.

Theater Auditorium and Lobby


Enjoy movies, performances, or lectures in the UP Theater. You are guaranteed comfort with our 245 newly installed seats. Furthermore, inside the entrance to the theater, there is a private reception area available for your use.

Computer Labs and Classrooms

There are over fifteen traditional classrooms and computer-style classrooms at the University of Providence.  This variety of classrooms will allow you the flexibility to book the perfect space for business training, lectures, or meetings.

Outside Spaces

Quad Area

Need something more? We have a beautiful outside space known as the Quad Area.  This area features tranquil waterfalls, lush green grass, and picture-perfect surroundings. The Quad Area is one of many that can add that bit of uniqueness to your event.
