FOR RELEASE: 6-4-2025
GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – The University of Providence (UP) is proud to announce the launch of seven new program concentrations, beginning in Fall 2025, designed to meet the growing demand for affordable, career-relevant education in Montana and beyond. These include program concentrations in: AI Literacy, Business Analytics, Web Design, Esports & Gaming Administration, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, and Public Health.
Made possible through the University’s partnership with Rize Education, a national partner who offers stackable concentrations in high-demand fields, these program concentrations are built for both traditional and non-traditional learners alike. As flexible programs, they are ideal for recent high school graduates, adult learners, working professionals, and career changers seeking to sharpen skills and unlock new job opportunities.
Rize Education partners with forward-thinking colleges like UP to offer hybrid online courses in today’s most in-demand fields. Courses are developed in collaboration with industry leaders and taught by expert faculty from a national consortium of top schools, giving students a personalized UP education with a powerful edge. Students can engage with course materials on their own schedule—integrating seamlessly with their on-campus classes, work responsibilities, and personal commitments. Instructors offer live online office hours, enabling students to connect directly with faculty in real time and deepen their understanding of the material.
Each Rize course requires approximately nine hours of work per week, including instructor-student interaction through video content, collaborative discussions, messaging, media review, and direct faculty engagement. This dynamic learning model ensures students stay supported, connected, and on track to achieve their goals.
“These program concentrations are about giving more people more access to the tools they need to succeed,” said Dr. Oliver Doyle, UP President. “Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to reskill, these programs are fast, focused, and designed to help you Rize in your career—without putting your life on hold.”
Offered at an accessible tuition rate, Rize programs combine real-world industry insight with the University’s mission to serve students and strengthen communities. Students can complete certificates in as little as six months and be workforce-ready in fields that are critical to Montana’s economy and the national job market.
