FOR RELEASE: March 31, 2026
The University of Providence, in partnership with the American College of Healthcare Executives Montana Chapter, recently hosted a Healthcare Career Seminar and Networking Social on March 26, 2026, bringing together healthcare executives, students, and emerging professionals for an engaging and impactful leadership experience.
Held on campus in Great Falls, the event opened with welcome remarks from Caroline Goulet, President, Provost, and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Providence, and John Goodnow, CEO of Benefits Health System and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Their remarks underscored the importance of academic–practice partnerships in preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders.
“The future of healthcare will be shaped by leaders who are not only academically prepared, but also grounded in real-world experience and service,” said Dr. Goulet. “At the University of Providence, our Healthcare Administration programs are intentionally designed to develop that next generation—equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and leadership capacity needed to meet the evolving demands of healthcare systems and the communities they serve.”
The program featured a career seminar titled “Proactively Managing Your Professional Development & Career as a Healthcare Leader: Guidance for Students and Early- to Mid-Careerists,” followed by a networking social that connected attendees directly with regional executive healthcare leaders.
Executive panelists represented leading healthcare organizations across the region, including Benefits Health System, Alluvion Health, and Great Falls Hospital, offering real-world insight into leadership, workforce development, and navigating today’s complex healthcare environment.
Attendees included University of Providence students and faculty, Montana HOSA students, and ACHE members – creating a dynamic, interprofessional space for learning, mentorship, and connection.
“This was a wonderful first step in the relationship with UP and ACHE Montana,” said Jackie Muri, President of ACHE Montana and Senior Partner of National Business Development & Outreach at Intermountain Health. “ACHE is excited to bring attention to the great Healthcare Administration programs at UP and support the ongoing growth and success of healthcare leadership.”
As the sole educational partner of ACHE Montana, the University of Providence continues to expand opportunities for students to engage with healthcare executives, earn professional development credit, and build meaningful connections that support long-term career advancement.
This event marks an important step in strengthening the partnership between the University of Providence and ACHE Montana, with continued collaboration focused on advancing healthcare leadership and workforce development across the region.
