FOR RELEASE: April 28 2022
GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – The University of Providence is kicking off the 90th Year Anniversary Celebration with its 2022 Commencement. A new logo was designed to portray the university’s history and rejoice in the success of another year since the institution’s founding days.
The 90th logo was created with inspiration from previous logos, crests, and the landscapes of Montana.
This year’s graduation will be the first since 2020 to follow a traditional celebration. In 2021, two ceremonies were hosted in order to follow CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.
For this commencement ceremony, masks will not be required and all graduates will be attending one ceremony.
Nearly 130 students will be walking at the commencement ceremony; however, more than 300 students will be graduating from both the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the School of Health Professions.
The university is very excited to have several students, friends, and family members conjoin on this very special day.
Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. inside the McLaughlin Gymnasium Center.
