Community Impact Scholars Tuition Incentive
The Community Impact Scholars Tuition Incentive offers a special annual tuition rate of $10,000 per year to eligible full-time commuter students residing in approved Montana counties. The incentive is designed to offer a competitive tuition rate and other incentives with the goal of making higher education more accessible and affordable for commuter students.
Eligibility for the Community Impact Scholars Tuition Incentive includes:
- Residing in Cascade, Chouteau, Fergus, Judith Basin, Liberty, Pondera, Teton or Toole counties
- Are a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student living off campus
- Are NOT participating in varsity athletics or receiving other institutional scholarships
- Demonstrate commitment to the local community through Volunteerism, leadership, etc.
- Maintain good academic standing throughout enrollment (Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Recipients of the Community Impact Scholars Tuition Incentive will also receive additional benefits as part of the program, including a flat annual student service fee, an optional meal plan active during the fall and spring semester, access to a commuter lounge, and more.

Healthcare Professionals Tuition Incentive
The Healthcare Professionals Tuition Incentive provides a discounted tuition rate of up to 50% for undergraduate and 25% for graduate programs for anyone currently employed in the healthcare field. This incentive can be applied to most of our undergraduate, graduate and certificate healthcare programs separate from employer-provided benefits.
Eligibility for the Healthcare Professionals Tuition Incentive includes:
- Being an actively employed employee for a healthcare organization
- Hold a full-time or part-time employment status
- Are seeking enrollment in a healthcare program offering at the University of Providence
- Retain employment at a healthcare facility or organization throughout enrollment
Through the Healthcare Professionals Tuition Incentive, the University of Providence aims to support healthcare professionals and healthcare employees who are eager to take the first step toward starting, advancing, or enhancing their careers in healthcare.

Providence Health & Service Tuition Incentive
The Providence Health & Service Tuition Incentive provides a tuition rate of up to 50% on select University of Providence undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs. This incentive varies for undergraduate and graduate programs and is available both full-time and part-time Providence Health & Service Caregivers and eligible dependents.
Eligibility for the Providence Health & Services Tuition Incentive includes:
- Being a full-time or part-time Providence Health Caregiver with active employment
- Being a tier 1 dependent of a Providence Health & Service employee
In addition to the Providence Health & Services Tuition Incentive offered by the University of Providence, Caregivers may also be eligible for additional tuition reimbursement through their employer, as well as having access to additional payment options such as Direct Pay or Tuition Deferral offered through Providence Health & Services partnership with Guild.

Law Enforcement Tuition Incentive
The Law Enforcement Tuition Incentive offers all POST-certified Montana police officers the opportunity to pursue a degree at the University of Providence at our military tuition rate of $250 per credit hour. This incentive is available to both full-time and part-time law enforcement officers.
Eligibility for the Law Enforcement Tuition Incentive includes:
- Being an actively employed Montana law enforcement officer
- Holding valid POST certification
- Holding either full-time or part-time employment in Montana law enforcement
The Law Enforcement Tuition Incentive can be applied to any undergraduate, graduate or certificate program at the University of Providence – including programs offering specialized skills and tracks for current law enforcement professionals such as Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Legal and Paralegal Studies, Business and more.

Military Tuition Incentive
The Military Tuition Incentive offers a tuition rate of $250 per credit hour available to all degree-seeking members of the U.S. Military, including all active-duty service members, members of the guard, reservists, veterans and their eligible dependents. This rate is honored alongside additional tuition assistance, federal aid, and the GI Bill.
Eligibility for the Military Tuition Incentive includes:
- Being an active-duty service member of any branch in the U.S. Military
- Currently an active reservist in the U.S. Military
- Are an eligible dependent of an active-duty service member, reservist, or veteran.
Understanding military benefits can be difficult depending on the benefits received and programs utilized. The $250 per credit hour tuition rate designed to both simplify the cost of attendance and offer an additional benefit separate from other tuition benefit program.
