Application & Admission Requirements
The University of Providence’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration program accepts applications for fall, spring, and summer enrollment. Application deadlines are August 16 each year for fall enrollment, December 20 for spring enrollment, and April 9 for summer enrollment.

Program Application: Applicants must complete an online undergraduate application.
Official Transcripts: Applicants must submit their official high school transcript. Official transcripts must be sent directly to the Admissions Office from your high school. Include transcripts from any dual enrollment or other pre-college programs attended, and results of any AP tests you have taken.
Submit official transcript(s) from any university/college where undergraduate coursework was completed. Transcripts can be sent directly to the following address: University of Providence | Admissions | 1301 20th Street South |Great Falls, MT 59405, or may be submitted electronically directly from the institution.
Curriculum Viète / Resume: All applicants must submit a current resume or curriculum viète.
SAT/ACT Scores: The University of Providence’s ACT code is 2410 and the SAT code is 4058. Although providing official test scores is strongly recommended, it is not required to be reviewed for admission.
Tuition Deposit: The ASHA program has a non-refundable tuition deposit of $50, which secures admission into the program. The deposit will be applied to the first tuition bill.
Minimum GPA Requirements: Students applying to the BSHA program must have a minimum GPA of 2.75. If a minimum 2.75 GPA was not achieved in prior high school or college coursework, an additional admission essay and academic review will be required for admission into the program.

What is the BSHA capstone?
The capstone project focuses on pulling together one or more skills learned in the program into a single, focused, quality improvement project based on real-world application in healthcare. The capstone is usually completed as the final course of the BSHA journey and serves as a metric of how students apply program concepts to a real-world, quality improvement project. Students will work closely with real-world supervisors and capstone instructors to complete their capstone project.
What to expect during the Capstone
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration capstone project is completed over an 8-week period in coordination with a real-world supervisor and capstone instructor. The capstone is self-paced, with students able to complete required objectives and metrics at their own speed while utilizing weekly meetings to aid in the project’s completion.
