FOR RELEASE: April 1, 2026
GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – The University of Providence is proud to announce that its Healthcare Administration programs have officially joined the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to advancing excellence in healthcare management education.
This milestone reflects the University’s continued commitment to strengthening academic quality, expanding professional engagement, and preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders. Through this affiliation, the University of Providence joins a distinguished network of more than 250 health administration programs across the country.
Membership in AUPHA provides faculty and staff with access to a wide range of professional resources, including the Journal of Health Administration Education, national webinars, the Exchange newsletter, and shared curricular tools such as case studies and syllabi. These resources support innovation in teaching, curriculum development, and program excellence.
For students, this affiliation enhances access to national-level opportunities, including scholarships, professional development webinars, case competitions, and engagement with Upsilon Phi Delta, the national honor society for healthcare management and policy.
“This is an important step forward for our healthcare administration programs,” said Dr. Areis Lurry, Program Director of Healthcare Administration programs. “Our affiliation with AUPHA strengthens our connection to the broader academic and professional community, while creating meaningful opportunities for our students and faculty to grow, engage, and lead within the evolving healthcare landscape.”
The University of Providence looks forward to leveraging this partnership to further enhance student success, academic innovation, and industry alignment in healthcare administration education.
