Esports

The University of Providence Esports club offers a competitive environment for students who are wanting to compete as part of the National Association of Collegiate Esports.

 

Alongside our varsity team, we allow club members to hone their skills and be part of our gaming community. Players on our competitive teams compete weekly in order to earn a spot on the national stage for a chance to compete for scholarships given by the NACE.

Recruitment

The University of Providence Esports team is always looking for more talented esports players to join our team. If you are interested, here is some information to help you though the process: 

 

Varsity Requirements:

Must be a full time student and in good academic standing at the University of Providence.

Must be committed to the competing for as competition season begins.

 

Club Requirements:

Must be a student at the University of Providence.

 

Application Process:

Apply to the University of Providence (mark “being recruited for Esports” when asked)

Have a conversation with Esports advisor to discuss scholarship opportunities regarding your possible attendance.

Argos Esports Center: The University of Providence has a fully dedicated esports facility, set up with MSI G272 monitors. Alongside our PC equipment, we have multiple switches where students competitively play Super Smash Bros.
