Three School of Health Profession Degrees Ranked As Top Healthcare Programs

Three degree programs from the University of Providence’s School of Health Professions were ranked as top healthcare programs by EduMed, an online healthcare education resource, for 2024.

The Medical Assistant Certificate, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) programs were ranked as one of today’s best schools for online healthcare programs, ranking in part for their quality, affordability, and commitment to student success, while meeting EduMed’s eligibility guidelines. EduMed offers a free, online resource for students seeking information on top healthcare programs, including information on scholarships, financial aid, and other helpful program information for top healthcare programs in nursing, healthcare administration, public health, and other key disciplines.

EduMed’s yearly analysis includes research and analysis of more than 7,700 accredited schools using data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and using information from the schools themselves. An analysis performed by EduMed’s data science team then ranks each qualifying schools within their healthcare discipline. The primary data points analyzed include:

  • Academic counseling services
  • Career placement services
  • Student-to-faculty ratio
  • Tuition
  • Percent of students receiving school-based financial aid
  • Amount of school-based aid per student

In addition to the above points, schools are required to hold active regional accreditation and have at least one partially online program for the ranking subject to meet eligibility for EduMed’s 2024 list.
