Dr. Betty Cardona is an associate professor and core faculty for the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSC). She earned her doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Wyoming in 2008. Dr. Cardona is a Professional Licensed Counselor (LPC) and has a small private practice in her community. Dr. Cardona has multiple publications, professional presentations at National and International conferences that have contributed to the field of counselor education and supervision for the last 14 years.
Dr. Cardona is a Gottman Couples Method Certified on Level III and Treating Affairs and Addictions using the Gottman Method. She teaches and practices Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and is Level II certified. Her favorite courses to teach are, Practicum, Internship, Advanced Clinical Skills, Group Process, Family Systems, and Couples Therapy.
