Dr. Thomas Richard Miller, DO, MPH, is a proud Montana native and a graduate of the University of Providence, when it was the College of Great Falls, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Biology with a minor in Mathematics. Dr. Miller earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Miller completed his Family Practice Residency at Creighton University, where he served as Chief Resident and received multiple leadership and teaching awards.
Dr. Miller retired from the United States Air Force after a distinguished 20-year career, as a physician, where he served in various medical and leadership roles.
An ordained Catholic Deacon, Dr. Miller is deeply involved in pastoral and community outreach, serving on councils and leading ministries. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and Knights of Columbus.
Dr. Miller is currently Associate Chair of Primary Care at TouroCOM Montana and serves on the Benefis Health System Native American Advisory Board. He moved with his wife, Susan, from Yakima, WA to help establish this new medical school. They are the proud parents of 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
