The University of Providence soon will be celebrating a monumental architectural landmark on campus! On September 23, 2019, UP will celebrate the grand opening of the new University of Providence University Center (UPUC). The building is 30,000 sq. ft. and will accommodate administration office spaces, student admissions center, the Galerie Trinitas, two distance learning rooms, meeting rooms, and a large conference/banquet room that will also be available for the public’s use. The special day will begin with mass followed by a ribbon cutting and blessing of the building, tours, and topped off with a complimentary meal in honor of the Feast of Blessed Emilie Tavernier Gamelin.
At the celebration, there will be an opportunity to purchase beautifully handcrafted pottery bowls created by our very own alumnae and staff member, Gracie Wright. The ceramic bowls will be glazed and stamped with the UP logo on the bottom of each bowl.
Each bowl will be unique and will be offered for a $20 donation. All donations will go toward the installment of our new donor wall in the UPUC which will be designed to celebrate those who have given so benevolently to the university over the years.
We will also accept donations of any amount to benefit the new UPUC donor wall.
