GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – The University of Providence is calling all ghosts and goblins, princes and princesses, and everyone in between to join in on the annual Spook-A-Roo Halloween event.
“For 20 years the University of Providence has provided the Great Falls community a safe and free location for Halloween happenings,” says Sherrie Arey, vice president of student development. “The campus is open to all for trick-or-treating in select residence halls, playing fun games in our student center, painting pumpkins on the campus mall, and even getting a scare of two from our student-led haunted house!”
The fun, free, and family-friendly event will take place on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. and is for children ages 0-12 with chaperones – the entire family is welcome to enjoy the event, as well!
While there is no charge for the event, the University of Providence is requesting families to bring canned food to help local schools’ food pantries.
“Last year we hosted more than 500 campus visitors during our annual event, and we hope to increase that number this year as we plan even more fun and scares,” says Arey.
