Three Questions With Pamela Goodrich

  • If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
    • As a kid, I watched old episodes of Bewitched. Since then, I wished I had the power of the nose twitch to freeze time and take care of what I needed. I wouldn’t mind it to take care of house chores either.
  • What do you enjoy doing outside of academia?
    • My favorite thing to do is travel. I love learning about new places, cultures, and languages. I also enjoy swimming and listening to books. Audiobooks give me opportunities to real when I otherwise would not have time for them. However, I do have to make sure not to laugh out loud or make faces while grocery shopping.
  • If you could create a new nursing specialty, what would it be and why?
    • One of many reasons I entered the nursing profession was the variety of opportunities one has as a nurse. I feel like I have already been able to create a nursing specialty by combining my interests in clinical practice, education, informatics, and leadership. My work involves all of my interests!
