Danette Schloeder, MSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM
Danette resides in Anchorage, Alaska. Danette started as the University of Providence as adjunct faculty for the RN-BSN program in 2017 then joined the program as part-time faculty the following year. She started her nursing career 26 years ago as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Providence Alaska Medical Center (PAMC). She has extensive experience in evidence-based practice, nursing leadership, and quality and safety. She has spoken nationally on topics such as critical care obstetrics, obstetrical hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and substance use disorder.

Post-Master’s Certificate as a Women’s Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Danette is currently a Perinatal Clinical Specialist at PAMC and their Magnet Program Director. She is also the current Chair for the Alaska Board of Nursing. Danette is currently pursuing Doctor of Nursing in Professional Leadership degree.
