Welcome, Caregivers, to the University of Providence!

UP provides a variety of opportunities for caregivers and your dependents to receive an education, conveniently and affordably. We offer programs in a variety of disciplines, with options for earning degrees and certificates online or in person, including on our comprehensive campus in Great Falls, Montana.

As an employee benefit, Providence St. Joseph Health and partner organization caregivers are eligible for special pricing for UP programs—up to 50 percent tuition discounts for full-time students.

The University of Providence is an accredited private, Catholic, liberal arts university and is a member of the Providence St. Joseph Health organization. It was originally founded through the collaborative efforts of the Sisters of Providence, the Ursuline Sisters, the Catholic Bishop of Great Falls and the civic community of Great Falls, who recognized societal need for higher education. Our educational mission, sponsored by the Sisters of Providence, continues to be the shared endeavor of dedicated people.
