Vendor Access
Defined as: any contractor or delivery or outside companies doing official University business with us
- The related area director requests approval from the VP
- If VP approves then, notifies Security and Facility with the following:
- Vendor Name (company name)
- Vendor arrival date (and time, if known)
- Area Director communicates protocol to Vendor
- Protocol requires: face mask while on campus; upon arrival to campus property, reports to Physical Plant Building.
- Proper PPE protocol already in place must be followed by all parties
Non-Prospective Student Visitor(s) or Guest(s)
Defined as: enrolled students/spouses/dependents/friends/acquaintances of employees, food delivery personnel, or any other individual who is not a vendor or a prospective student, who is accessing a campus facility for the purpose of conducting official University business.
- Employee communicates campus access protocol to guest(s) and shares the link to the health and wellness page on the COVID-19 Website.
- Protocol requires: face mask while on campus; accessing only buildings critical for the purpose of the visit to campus
- Food delivery personnel should be met by employee, in parking lot or at building entrance
- Ensure that any meeting with a guest, is trackable. One means of tracking, is through formal meetings scheduled through Teams or Outlook calendars. This practice will support contract tracing efforts, if needed.
- Proper PPE protocol already in place must be followed by all parties
Note: Please be mindful of having any guest on campus. If the purpose of the visit is for any reason other than the purpose of conducting business, it is discouraged. Please also be mindful of the existing University Policy pertaining to having children in the workplace, as indicated in our Community Policy Document, section 2.5.4.
