Dr. Madson coordinates institutional research at the university. His doctoral work focused on urban studies, and he teaches research methods and statistics. In addition to numerous research projects on campus, Dr. Madson evaluates community programs such as the Targeted Community Action Plan, Weed and Seed: Neighborhood Assessment, Patient Navigation for Cancer Screenings among Native Americans in Montana, and Early Childhood Development: Pre-school Intervention Strategies. He joined the faculty at the university in 2006.
Born and raised in Montana, Dr. Madson loves the great outdoors, including mountain biking, skiing, and fly fishing. He is a Crossfit Level I trainer and competitive athlete at a local affiliate.
