Professor Chris Kelly teaches practical skills sports business administration, athletic training and personal health, first aid, and sports medicine. She joined the faculty in 1998 and received an award for instructional excellence in 2014. A basketball star in her youth, she has coached basketball, football, soccer, and softball for over 25 years. She was the associate athletic trainer at the University of Montana for 10 years. Her training includes health and fitness program management, with additional emphasis in psychology.
Professor Kelly is also host of the Chris Kelly Comedy Hour on the local public radio affiliate, KGPR, and enjoys doing the play-by-play for the local high school football and basketball games for Cherry Creek Radio. She is also vice president for operations at Kelly Signs. She provides free first aid and CPR training for the American Heart Association.
