Financial Aid

Financial aid programs at the University of Providence are designed to assist students in paying for expenses associated with earning a college degree, including tuition, fees, books, transportation, supplies, and the student’s living expenses while enrolled. Assistance may be provided through a combination of scholarships grants, work opportunities, and loans. The financial aid year begins with the fall semester, followed by spring and summer semesters.

Students can apply for aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)The University of Providence School code is 002527. Student must reapply for federal aid each year. An estimate of federal aid can be calculated using the FAFSA Forecaster tool.

We encourage students to learn as much as possible about federal aid as well as outside scholarships. Reliable information can be found at www.mappingyourfuture.org. External scholarships can reduce dependence on borrowing to help pay for your education. FastWeb is a trustworthy site for information about external scholarships. Be wary of financial aid scams! You should never have to pay to file your FAFSA or apply for a scholarship.
