About the University of Providence

This position is responsible for providing tutoring to UP students in Mathematics. This requires offering assistance with developing study strategies, working with the tutee to develop a tutoring plan that fits the student’s individual needs, preparing tutoring sessions to ensure the tutee’s academic development, assessing the tutee’s progress throughout tutoring sessions, participating in tutor training and development sessions, along with portraying TRIO Student Support Services in a professional and dignified manner. The position also requires close work with instructors in the content areas tutored.

Wages: $10.00 per hour
FTE: 0.40 – hours may vary; up to 15 hours per week
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Non-Benefits Eligible
