The primary function of the Lead Athletics Bus Driver is skilled work in the operation of a Bus. This position will transport athletic teams to in-state and out-of-state athletic contests. Coordinate overall maintenance, training, charter service, day operations and night operations.
ESSENTIAL POSITION COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Class B CDL and passenger endorsement. Preferred Class A CDL and passenger endorsement. Must be willing to work nights and weekends, including overnight stays. Driving required in all conditions, including snow, ice, and rain.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving large passenger vehicles, school buses or commercial motor-coach.
Position Type: Staff
Wages: $12.42 per hour
FTE: .75 – 1.0; hours varies based on out-of-town athletics events’ schedule
